Dance party - with costumes from all over Europe

Dance party

Events and Notices:

Performance at Family Fun Day, Beca Heritage Week

18 October, Victoria Square, central Christchurch

Farandol will be performing on Sunday 18 October. Come and see us dancing a suite of dances from Serbia followed by dances from Romania, wearing costumes representing these two countries. We'll be on the circular stage set up near the river on the west side of Victoria Square.

You can see us at 12.15 and again at 1.45 pm

Who are we?

We are people who are enthusiastic about folk dancing. We dance for fun, not to compete, although we try to be authentic as much as practical.

What do we do?

We learn and enjoy folk dances from around the world, with an emphasis on the Balkan peninsula.
