Czech Workshop 2008

Guest Tutor: Živana Vajsarová, visiting New Zealand from Czech Republic.

Živana is Head of the Dance Department of the Arts School in Prague and is well known throughout Europe for her work in dance education and dance folklore. She specialises in contemporary, folk and historical dances. Her successful performance group ‘Jaro’ has toured countries including Japan, USA, Hong Kong and several European countries. A Czech dance couple will demonstrate dances to music by their pianist.

Programme

There will be a morning session, lunch, and an afternoon session.
